GDC Insight from pseudorandom

I’ve been so busy that I’ve barely been able to post here, much less keep up with my blogroll. I plan to catch up on Frank Boosman’s diary from the Game Developer’s Conference this weekend. Frank is a big player in the gaming and simulation industry, and I’ve enjoyed his talks at conferences such as this and the Serious Games Summit in DC recently.

    It was an interesting set of conferences (both SGS and GDC), to be sure. I’m sorry I haven’t been attending these last few years.

    GDC was, in particular, amazing. There were probably 8-10 sessions, 5-7 roundtables, and 3-5 sponsored sessions for every slot during the conference. As a result, there was always something interesting going on…
